The Operational Scout is responsible for the safety of an entire Evac Team. For this reason Animal Fire Rescue has taken great care to ensure that personnel that complete this Certification are ready to provide Operational Level scene safety during Wildland Fire Evac Operations.
Prerequisites
In order to complete the Operational Certification a Scout must be current in all the Operational Qualifications for your agency.
The SDHS Scout Operational Qualifications can be found in the SDHS ERT Scout SOP.
A list of all the Scout distant learning classes required every 3 years and forms available through AFR can be found on the Scout Page.
