The NFPA Technician RR & ATR Certification program follows NFPA, CMC and CA SFT Standards. Students that complete this Certification will have demonstrated Knowledge, Skills and Operational Competency in Rope Rescue Rigging and Animal Technical Rescue.
Prerequisites
Students must complete the following to enroll.
- FEMA IS: 05,10,11,100,200,700,800 (recommended but not mandatory)
- Awareness RR & ATR Certification
- Operational RR & ATR Certification
- Complete Distant Learning RR Class at 80% (Can be completed while completing the 40 hours of hands on training if not already completed in Operational Certification)
Certification Process
- Print the Technician Task Book and take it to class (See below)
- Complete required 40 Hours of Hands-On Training
- Complete Practical Testing
- Have Certificate signed by Lead Instructor
- Sign Certificate confirming all your requirement’s have been completed
Re-Certification Process
- Print the Operational Task Book and take it to class (See Below)
- Complete required 40 Hours of Hands-On Training
- Complete Practical Testing
- Have Certificate signed by Lead Instructor
